Lately Mac

The latest Scrapbook Circle kit is out! I didn't have much time to work my magic with it but I ended up with 4 pages that I really loved!

Here's a page I made just for fun using this month's cut files. I loved the Elle's Studio cork patterned paper. And when I saw the Echo Park sticker sheet and those great push pin stickers, I knew instantly how I wanted this page to turn out. I made it look like a cork board!
Look at Ms. Mac laying their like a little Queen of Sheba. This could not have been comfortable for her, she was halfway lying on the wall and on the floor. But she just looked so cute I had to snap some photos.

These were pretty generic photos that I paired with a story of her right now. Lately this tiny monster has been keeping me up at night. Meowing and wanting to play at 2 am! I wanted to be sure to remember this phase (God I hope!).
The cut files and the 6x6 paper pad from the (so sorry already sold out!) add-on kit did all of the work for me. It was just a matter of a few bits of embellishing and adding the journaling.
I have 3 more pages to share with you. I'm also working on a a post about what it's like to work with Scrapbook Circle and a little bit more about the challenges we post on the blog. So be sure to check back for more of that later this month!

I made some pocket pages!! It had been awhile, I was hesitant after taking on that huge Pacific Northwest project…that I'm still needing to blog about. But the smaller 6x8 size made it easy. I used the Here & There kit and just a handful of photos. I blogged about it over on the Scrapbook Circle blog.

There's a new sketch over on the Scrapbook Circle blog! It's a fun one too!! I used it with my Here & There kit and a few photos of my kitty.
Jill Sprott said it best in one of her latest instagrams. A cat's motto is "always be where you shouldn't." Here here sister! I couldn't agree more.

Mac-a-do loves to be where I am at the most inconvenient times. She loves to snatch my chair when I'm scrapbooking and get up to grab something. She likes to lay on the pages as I'm trying to photograph them. She wants to cuddle and purr while I have the laptop on my lap and am typing up a blog post.

Cute as a button but a pain in the butt is probably the best way to describe it. I guess I should be glad she's interested? :)
Paring the sketch with these photos (from two separate occasions mind you) and the kit was almost too perfect. I loved the gold mixed in with the pink and the teal.

I had fun adding in some stamping and fixing a blunder. That square where the gold enamel dot is hanging out, right in front of "Macclesfield" was a total accident! The rubber stamp part had fallen off and not being aware of this, I went on my merry way to stamp it. Thankfully it ended up being a quick fix! I also didn't mean to stamp the first "E" that way but absolutely like how it turned out. Quirky, no?
This might just be my favorite page for the month. Cute kitten + pretty projects, you can't go wrong!
