Christmas Tags & Envelope

Friday, December 25, 2015

I hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas! I'm in San Antonio spending the days with my family. But before all of the merriment is over, I thought I'd share the money envelopes and tags I made for the season. I love how they turned out!

Merry Christmas

To all who celebrate Christmas, here's wishing you the merriest of days!

Movie Night

Sunday, December 28, 2014

I started a new tradition this year. You know, just on a whim as I was heading to Target (WARNING: never a good time to start a new tradition that requires purchasing things. You'll never stop!!)
I used a Simple Scrapper sketch from the No. 11 issue of Spark Magazine, as well as prompt from the No. 13 issue that will be out at the beginning of the month! Thanks to it, this page came together so quickly and simply (ha!).

I even managed to include ephemera on the page. The bottle cap in the middle is from the beer I bought for MT. Shiner has the best Christmas packaging.
I hope you each had a wonderful December. This time of the year is my absolute favorite. I'm sad to see it end but so excited for a new beginning. The New Year might be my second favorite "holiday".  I love the planning and the fresh start, but more on that later.

Bags & Tags

Thursday, December 25, 2014

Happy Christmas all!
Just a quick share today. Here are the bags I decorated to hold all of the little pressies I got for my girls. They're loosely based off bags I saw on Amanda Dell's blog. I loved the mini pom poms!!
I made the snowflake out of pipe cleaners using this tutorial. I also stamped the mini bags using an older Ali Edwards' stamp set. The tags I cut myself and finished off with a gold reinforcement. I want like 400 more of them!
If you celebrate Christmas, I hope you have a wonderful holiday! To everyone else, have a fabulous Thursday =)

Made of Stories

Monday, December 1, 2014

Made of Stories, Scrapbook Circle's December kit, is all glittery and Christmas-y. Sooo good and so festive! I made four pages using the main and the Favorite Elf add-on and love how two layouts are more modern and two are more traditional. I didn't plan it that way at all!

Two are about being warm and cozy and jolly. And two are about a specific Christmas event.

If you're looking for some great Christmas products without having to spend a ton on a huge kit, I'd totally suggest nabbing the Made of Stories kit and/or the Favorite Elf add-on.

AND as a bonus. Lisa is included this fabulous canvas tote in each of the kits. LOVE it!

Enriquez Thanksgiving

Saturday, March 22, 2014

Heyo! Happy Saturday y'all =) I've had the most productive day already and I'm keeping it going. Just have a quick share of a Thanksgiving page. I really love that I got to use some colder tones with these photos as opposed to the warmer oranges and browns. This is based off a sketch from Simple Scrappers. It meant I got to use all of these great sequins and enamel shapes!

December Project Life

Sunday, January 5, 2014

Here it is in all its glory, my complete December album. I didn't do this daily, instead I printed photos in batches and powered through with embellishing once we got back from Ohio. It was a lot of work but I love that its done.

I shot a (not so quick) video of myself flipping through the pages and talking about the design and other things. And if you're just interested in the photos, those are below. It's really photo heavy so I'll warn you in advance.

New products used: Blue Note Project Life Kit, Let your Heart be Light Cut, Lawn Fawn badges, Life Love Paper Printables, Knock Knock Roller Stamp, Webster's Pages/Allison Kreft 6x6 Paper Pad
