A Good Day

Hiya! Did a quick fun page of all the places we visited on our day in Tokyo =)

I used a Papertrey Ink die cut with my photos and patterned paper. And then played with the little bits & pieces of the July Studio Calico kit.

Love love love the little wood veneer birdies! I had to have 2 kissing each other, next to the lovebirds in front of Tokyo Tower.

It was an awesomely packed day full of memories. And one that my feet are literally still recovering from. All worth 100% worth it!

The streak is over!!

I made a few pages, using some of these new Japan photos. I also delved into my Elmwood Park kit and just had to use my new Kelly Purkey stamps.

This is a highlight page of my trip. We did a day in Kamakura, a day in Tokyo and hopped over to Enoshima. But the real meat of this page is in the numbers.

  • It had been 3.5 years since I last saw this girl! It's hard to believe it's been that long.
  • I'm a spur of the minute girl, I booked this flight 2 weeks before I left.
  • All told it was 14 hours worth of flying to actually get to Sarah. Not my worst day of flying, but not the best either.

This was a fun kit to play with, there was some really good colors and some fun doo dads to throw around. It was a good place to start, just having come off of a mini hiatus.

Aaaahhh! It feels good to scrapbook again. Just put in a print order and ready to get those bad boys on some pages.

....of my missing mojo!

I think jet lag may have been the biggest contributing factor. I got back last Wednesday and am finally FINALLY feeling like a normal person again.

But I still haven't got it in my scrapbooking it seems. Even my Studio Calico kit is just sitting there waiting to be delved into.

And with photos like these, how can I not be in the mood to scrapbook?!

Pages to come :) Thanks for sticking around during my hiatus!
