Eight is Enough

Have you heard of this challenge? Ella Publishing & Studio Calico put out an E-book called Eight is Enough last year or maybe even the year before. The entire premise is to create layouts with only 8 products.

For whatever reason, yesterday as I was home sick, I had a wild hair to take part.

Well maybe not so wild, I have a plethora of new (and old) supplies that I just haven't touched.

Picking from my latest acquisitions and digging into my stash of "older" product I came up with the following supplies:

The challenge let's you use cutting tools, cardstock & pens as freebies.

I picked products as part of Natt Smith's latest challenge, it's a color one. And since I don't usually pair blue & green together, and definitely not those shades, I decided to give it a try.

I cranked out 4 layouts with just 8 products!! In one afternoon!

And a page with some of my favorite girls.

Is it possible to make pages with minimal products? I think the evidence is clear! Give it a try, you just might be surprised at what you can make =)
