Monday again, you know what that means! A Scrapbook Challenges sketch :)
So my mama's birthday is tomorrow. As always, I love to give scrappy gifts and knew a few of the photos I took this past weekend while Urijah was visiting, would make for a great framed layout for her. But...I also wanted to create something for his album. Originally I wasn't going to make two different layouts, but when I walked into my LSS today, saw that gorgeous Cosmo Cricket patterned paper (2nd layout) I knew I'd have to use it! I'd also like to add that I was very influenced by today's 2Ps layout of the day, done by Tina in Indy.
The flower and the swirly were cut with my Slice and used the Vintage Findings design card. To give the flower some depth, I chalk inked the edges, backed it with white cardstock and added a brad. I love that I can use my little Slice to make my own custom embellishments!
"Come Grandma, walk with me...
Help me to be the best kid I can be.
Take me here and take me there...
Show me now how much you care.
The many hours we share together...
Will be the times I'll always remember."
I thought it was too perfect for these pages about my mama and her grandson. She truly is a great mama and an even better grandma! Urijah's lucky to have her, as well am I!

Love both layouts! I really love all the papers and how perfectly they match the pictures. Such sweet journaling, too.
