BLOGIVERSARY!!

I've had so much fun blogging this year. My little project has truly been a blessing in a very surprising way. I'm so grateful to all 60 of you followers over there! You are so appreciated, I'll have you know!

So I've been thinking about what I should talk about, on this, my 1 year anniversary post and had this idea to share some of my favorite and most used products. I'll talk them up now and show, over the next week or so, how I incorporate them time and time again, into my pages.

Without further adieu, here are my top 10 product picks of...hmm...well, I'll just say it, of ALL time!

1. Neutral Backgrounds: I love them, wether slightly patterned or just plain cardstock they're the first place I start any given layout. I adore the Basic Grey Basics line! And Kraft cardstock..{swoon} Well, I just can't get enough!

2. Patterned Paper: It's my scrapbook kryptonite, truly it is. If I could scrap with nothing else in my stash, I'd head straight to my patterned paper files. These are just an infinitesimally small sampling of some of my favorite patterned paper brands; Sassafras, Basic Grey, Studio Calico, Making Memories, American Crafts and October Afternoon.

3. Adhesive: Now, you can't scrap without some good ol' glue! This is the product I'm loving at the moment. Tombo Mono adhesive. Super easy to use, very tacky, and inexpensive refills are just a few of the reasons I'm digging it.

4. Pens: I've been realizing how often I turn to my pens for my projects these days. My basic black is an American Crafts Slick Writer. I've never loved a pen as much as I love this one! I've also found myself using white ink a lot more. Adds great contrast to those pages!

5. Letter Stickers: I can't scrap a page without my letter stickers!! Thickers especially, I adore. But who doesn't?! Seriously, there needs to be a Thicker rehab. I easily have over 60 packages and that's not even a lot compared to some of the die hard Thicker gals. I'm also always on the hunt for smaller letter stickers. The Micro Mono's put out by Basic Grey are the perfect small letter size! I also totally love the mixed type by My Little Shoebox, the small circles by Jenni Bowlin, and the tiny tabs by October Afternoon.

6. Border Punches: I use these a ton! Just scroll down and see how big the label "Border Punch" is down there. 1 out of 3 of my layouts features some border punch or other. My go-to's are Apron Lace by Fiskars, Loops Edger by Martha Stewart and now this Bracket Edger punch by EK Success.

7. Circle Punches: Seriously, it's the number one thing I recommend to new scrapbookers when they ask about what products to buy. Circle punches are so unbelievable versatile, they're the little black dress of the scrapbooking world. You can dress 'em up, dress up down, go to town, all with a circle punch!

8. Maya Mist: Lately, I've been using (or at least considering) it for ever project I create. There is so much fun to be had with a couple oz bottle of colorful goodness! If you're interested in amping your layouts up a notch, definitely consider investing in a bottle or two! Or try the Red/Silver sampler! You can't go wrong!

9. Baker's Twine: Ok, so you might not get what the big deal is about this stuff, but you have to see it on some pages! They're awesome! And even though I only have it in these three colors, they get a lot 'o use, let me tell you.

10. Chalk Ink: Another ink! Hmm..never really considered myself an inky kinda girl but here we have me recommending it again. I love these chalk inks! They're my go to ink if I'm going to do any kind of stamping. I love the softer look to them, but the still vibrant colors!
