Hello Summer

Wednesday, June 12, 2013

Whoop! It's here and I'm so excited! Summer that is. And it all begin with a mini road trip out to Galveston. I had a bunch of instagrams, one of my new favorite lines ever (Crate Paper's The Pier Collection) Studio Calico digital stampsprintables and cut files (from one of my all time fave designers, Ms Geralyn) and this May Flaum sketch.

I based the page off of the sketch but added a twist. I threw the stack of instagrams on top of each other on my desk and liked how it looked so much, I opted to create a "mini book" on my page. I mounted the two square photos on a sheet of plain transparency and taped one side down with the Crate Paper washi. Then decorated with die cuts, cut out printables & sequins, plus some stickers and just a teeny bit of stamping.
